How to get your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS)

What is CAS?

Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) is a statement sent by your depository either NSDL or CDSL, consolidating all your holdings across asset classes which are held either in demat form or electronic form, linked to your PAN

How to download CAS?

1.) Available in your inbox

The depository (NSDL or CDSL), on a monthly basis, email the statement directly to the registered email address of the PAN holder. You can simply search for the statement in the mailbox as follows

If NSDL is your depository, search for “Your NSDL CAS” in your inbox

If CDSL is your depository, search for “CDSL Consolidated Account Statement (CAS)” in your inbox

2.) Download from depository

Incase you are unable to trace the statement in your inbox, you can also trigger the statement directly from the depository

For NSDL users

1.) Visit https://nsdlcas.nsdl.com/

2.) Click on NSDL E-CAS on the top menu

3.) Click on Know your CAS ID

4.) Enter PAN, DP name and ID, Client ID and Captcha

5.) CAS ID will be generated

6.) Enter CAS ID, PAN and Captcha

7.) Select the month and year for which the CAS is required

8.) The CAS will be emailed at the registered mail id. The password for CAS is your PAN in capital.

For CDSL users

1.) Visit https://www.cdslindia.com/cas/logincas.aspx

2.) Enter PAN, BO ID (Demat account number), Date of Birth and click submit

3.) Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number

4.) Select the month and year for which the CAS is required

5.) You will get an option to download the CAS. The password for CAS is your PAN in capital.
