Mutual Funds or fixed deposits? This has been one of the most frequently asked questions in the personal investment domain. In terms of saving money, fixed deposits get the first nod, as they are quite easy to understand and are a form of traditional saving. On the other hand, Mutual Funds are a modern form of investment that gives great returns with a varying degree of risk associated with different types of funds. Generally, both Mutual Funds and FD have been considered as a safe bet while investing money. Both offer good returns after investing for a significant amount of time. However, there are a few differences between the two that makes the one investment form more eye-catching than the other and vice versa.
